Merry Christmas Freedom XPats!

Before wishing you a Merry Christmas, we want to just highlight a few of our successes in 2020, beginning with our most recent.

CAIR vs. Christian Doctor
Freedom continues to score victories against the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and their letter-writing campaigns aimed at silencing and enforcing shariah blasphemy restrictions on critics of Islam.

Our client, whose identity we are withholding, is licensed to practice osteopathic medicine in various states.  He is a Christian who has posted his critical views of Islam on social media and blogs. CAIR has been writing to state medical boards demanding they revoke his medical licenses. CAIR has also written to his employer demanding he be fired.

But we know how to write letters too, and ours made clear that any attempt to discriminate against our client because of his religious views would be met with litigation. Based on our letters, at least two states have declined to consider CAIR’s requests, and our client’s corporate employer has backed away from caving to CAIR’s demands. This is very frustrating to CAIR, as their spokesman told a Dallas-area newspaper.  Merry CHRISTmas to you, CAIR!

Schools vs. Free Speech and Religious Liberty
Early this year, we settled lawsuits against Inspire Charter Schools and the University of California, Berkeley, over their efforts to silence the voices of patriots and Christians.

We taught the charter schools a lesson in religious liberty after they refused to accept our Christian clients’ vendor application to provide art instruction because of Bible verses on their website.  Our clients were well-compensated for the charter schools’ religious intolerance.

In the UC Berkeley case, our patriotic clients were compensated for injuries they sustained when campus police stood idly by watching antifa rioters assault them. These settlements help our clients move on with their lives and avoid uncertain trial outcomes.

We additionally prevented Portland State University from imposing speech restrictions on a patriotic student there. She is just one of millions of students at public schools and universities being indoctrinated and bullied, but she knew to contact Freedom X.

We are currently representing James Patrick Riley and Riley’s Farm, his American heritage colonial village in the San Bernardino mountains, in a lawsuit against eight school districts who canceled field trips to the farm in response to Jim’s conservative social media posts. (Donate to support the lawsuit here.)

Churches vs. Pandemic
We sued Gov. Gavin Newsom and San Diego County on behalf of Abiding Place Ministries, a church located in Campo, CA, over restrictions preventing churches from conducting in-person worship services. Thanks to this lawsuit and others like it, the state and county ultimately lifted the in-person gathering restrictions.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!We are grateful to God that we are able to serve His glory and do our part to protect our constitutional freedoms. Success stories like these are why we need your help for more victories in 2021. With your financial support, we can take on the cancel culture with greater force and teach the anti-freedom haters of liberty what makes this country exceptional. Will you please consider making a year-end tax-deductible donation of $50 or more to support the work of Freedom X?  Or a monthly donation?

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.Isaiah 9:6

Wishing you a blessed and joyful Christmas!
